Ellis O’Connor is returning to run another fantastic outdoor drawing workshop for us in the Cairngorms. This workshop was a sellout in June and enjoyed with gusto by all who took part! We are delighted to be offering this workshop again with Ellis, recipient of the Royal Scottish Academy Landscape Award 2015, whose solo show “Sumainn” ran at The Laundry Gallery in March-April 2019.
Students will be working en plein air with a variety of media on paper – acrylic paints, charcoals, conte, water based inks and chalk pastels – to capture the wild beauty of the Cairngorms landscape and skies.
This workshop has a maximum size of 10 students and will take place from 10am-4pm with a break for a hot lunch. There will usually be some shelter available, but students should be prepared for a day in the Scottish Highland weather – whatever form that that may take…
This promises to be another inspirational and dynamic two days of drawing in an extraordinary setting. All materials included. Two days tuition, hot lunch and refreshments, materials – £150.
